Back in 1992, the excitement around digital video and 3D graphics was just beginning to build. Obsessed with computers and computer-generated visual effects (VFX), I decided to pursue a full-time business working with computers.

This was our original company tagline back in 1992.

Initially, I envisioned 601MEDIA as a group of media experts, but that idea was short-lived. To this day, I continue to run business as a solo venture, with the invaluable support of my amazing wife, Christine, who helps with research and manages the billing.

Meet the Owner, Mark Mayo

I’m a studyholic and share my research on AI, Tech, VFX, Digital Audio-Graphics-Video, SEO-SEM, and Business. With over 16 years of industry experience as a systems integrator, I have worked with DPS, Discreet Logic Edit*, Targa 3000, and Digisuite Video Editing Systems, providing solutions to television studios, post-production facilities, and special effects houses. Since 1992 I’ve run 601MEDIA LLC, a company named after the digital video standard CCIR-601, helping entrepreneurs gain clarity with digital decisions, media generation, web development, business promotion, lead generation, and business automation. click here to learn more about Mark
